top 'o the morning to ya pretty girls! hope you're doing swell ♥
so I'm sure you're all dying to know how my picnic in the park with Ginge went, right?! ;) Well, I'll spare you the mushy gooshy details and go right to the important stuff.. what i wore. I decided to ahead and get dolled up for the occasion since it's such a rare occurence, so I threw on this little number.
floral print sundress from American Eagle
you may or may not recognize this dress from a little movie called High School Musical 3...

**wakes up to reality**
anywayz, I do have a reason for showing you this dress other than finding an excuse to plug in pics of Z-eron, though that was a definite perk. So y'all remember this post where i mentioned a dress in my spring wardbrobe that used to fit like a potato sack and I was thrilled to see that it actually fit this summer? Welp, this is the dress! So, I decided to do a side by side comparison for you chicks.

*i know it looks like a totally different dress, but i assure you its not :)*
the left picture is from me last summer and the right picture is me, well.. last night. So, here's my change.. a year later, after gaining a substantial amount of weight... and i'l be honest, i don't see too much of a difference in my body, do you?! From an outside perspective looking at these pictures the only places where i notice a huge change are:
moral of the story being, through the weight gain journey I understand that it is easy to begin scrutinizing your body with ED chirping in your ear. Try to take a step back and really admire your body, admire the changes, and embrace them. At the risk of sounding like a broken record, this process is about so much more than gaining weight.. so, i've decided i'm going to scratch the pounds bull$h!t (pardon my french) and just consider myself to be gaining health... can you dig it?!
alright well I am off to take my healthy face, boobiez, and hair to work :)
catch ya on the flip side, homegirls!

From an outside perspective looking at these pictures the only places where i notice a huge change are:
- my face (though you can't really see that from this picture). In the left my eyes are sunken in, my face is frail and lifeless. Whereas now my face looks healthy and my cheeks are full.
- my boobies! woo-wee. though I still might be a worthy cantidate for the itty bitty titty committee, I am definitely rockin' some clevage these days.. can i get an amen?!
- my hair: so in the first picture we see i'm rockin' the scarecrow look.. not hot. My hair is limp, dry, and scraggly. Now-a-days, my hair is much thicker and voluminous.. lovez it!
